Facilities

We have specialized studios for each area of concentration — drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, and graphic design. These facilities are modern and well equipped. Wireless web access is available in every studio.

Hutton-Blevins Art Complex

A newly renovated and extremely spacious two story building with skylights, central heating and air. This building houses the Ceramics, Basic Design, Printmaking, and Sculpture disciplines. The organic floor plan invites movement between studios.

Graphic Design Studio

Located in the top floor of the Library, we have ten Macintosh student workstations. We maintain current versions of Adobe Creative Suite, the industry standard for design software. Students also have access to film and sheet scanners, digital cameras, and tablets.

5th East Painting Studio

5th East

Natural light fills the entire top floor of East Hall, home to our painting and drawing studios. The capacious central studio has a bank of enormous skylights and sturdy studio furniture. The drawing studio and semi-private studios are located on opposite ends of the floor.

Fine Arts Center

The Fine Arts Center houses gallery space and most of the Photography department’s facilities. Fine Arts also houses a theatre and recital hall.

Library Second Floor

The top floor of Intermont’s Library has classroom, studio and office spaces. Graphic Design Studio Art History Classroom – HD 1080p projector with 12 foot screen Drawing Studio Classroom for Color Theory, Illustration, etc. Space for exhibition of student work
